riverstitch revisited


i had  a truly joyous moment today

Audrey Fittall [one of the lovely group of Riverstitchers] swung by Beautiful Silks after class today and showed us all her delightful dress
begun in Goolwa
and completed with a dye-baptism last weekend.

it's truly delicious.

  10. the really cunning thing about this dress is that it's essentially a t-shirt + a large cotton long-sleeved shirt...stitched together and embellished....it's the HOW of the stitching, the placement of the short and the reshaping of the neck that has made it so marvellous...no pattern required...
