joshua creek

after a little more stitching
i arrived in Canada
where the air is crisp
and the space we are working in is very beautiful

there are bees

more kitties than i have seen in one pile for a long time

and

i have some very adventurous students
who have decided to weave components for their
landskins

i'm enjoying this new class
but
can't help recalling the pavement in New Orleans

12 petals drifting on the breeze:

  1. Beautiful... and the pavement is simple and intense!

  2. The weaving is a great idea... though I was most attracted to all those calico kitties. They are a family staple here. Enjoy, as the fall seems to be quickly yielding to early winter.

  3. i guess the kitties love to play with the weavings...............

  4. Is it selfish to say I'm hoping that pavement sets up a resonant undercurrent that pulls you back here soon?

  5. that pavement is humming....
