covering a body that was busy dipping a dress
in the left coast brine
before taking it further east
to play with it some more
the body was accompanied by her favourite photographer
otherwise
the only record of the day
would be in a slide-show for one in her head
or
a few prints on the beach
and
they don't usually last
in the end nothing does
ReplyDeleteI hope that coat lasts as long as you need it.
ReplyDeletei will try and keep it out of bushfires
ReplyDeleteand
mend when necessary
it's beginning to be a memory repository already
which makes it kinda precious
A boro style India Flint garment sounds very precious indeed. A memory repository .... wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou're like aGgenie of nature, blending into your garden....
ReplyDeleteI almost agree with Yvette: only "change" does
... sorry, something went wrong: ... a Genie .....
ReplyDeleteAwe-inspiring, as usual, India. Where are you on the Left Coast? I'm here, too, but likely quite a bit farther north. Enjoy your journey.
