the pain of the lossthe joy of the memoriesthe gift that was time shared beautiful image of Kip out in the field in Second Skin ..
(even when the time elapsed gets bigger and bigger, you miss those furry ones just the same eh)xxxxx
sweet, memory can be.
My heart goes out to you at this time. Time measured in dog years is an eternity and to live without them is a great sadness.
What a shocking grandmother I am, I did not realise what day it was but Kip the wonder dog has been on my mind since yesterday afternoon. I too miss her very much.
Such a privilege to walk the good red road with the heartbeat of such a one for companion. Taking a moment with you to remember the sweet ones.
Ahhh, look at that dear face...A quote has been circulating on the Border collie boards recently, from Irving Townsend: "We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle, easily breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we would still live no other way."
What a lovely doggy he was...very sad indeed.
oh precious one remembered...a sad day!x
A beautiful image .... so lovely to behold, so painful as well .... that's why we have the word bittersweet.
She'll live in your heart forever.
I have an old collie, now managing from day to day. That day looms for me in the not too far future and I still mourn another from 15 years ago!But we are blessed by friends like these indeed
How sweet to remember the goodness of a dog friend. They make our lives so much more whole. They leave too soon.
Kip deserves a quite moment, your fur friendis no doubt onto the next adventure...my hound gets more and more frailand confused looking...each day is a gift.
