silly old bear

what if a silly old bear had tipped out the contents
of a dodgy looking pot in the dark one night
just before leaving the country on an overseas
wandering
and what if that silly old bear hadn't noticed
there was a bundle in amongst the leaves
having extracted quite a few bundles from the pot
already
...bundle found on compost heap some time later 
finger-painting on the wall by at

    fine merino jersey doesn't respond well to roasting in sunlight in the top layer of a compost heap - but my youngest has already called dibs on it...having performed marvellous lacelike transformations on a number of things [including Tshirts at Shakerag last year] she's about to work her magic
    you'll see some of her work in 'second skin' when it's published in JUly
