from the back paddock at home just now
i remembered there was still another camera
to download from the Flinders wandering
here's a nice finger painting from the Dogs/Gods above
the image below is from the inside of a curious vessel
during the construction stage
the little holes are for the water to run out
while the mud and rocks are being hauled to the surface
contemplation of 'labours' at the end of the week...
I am in love with any Dogs above...or elsewhere for that matter...and that seems a very fine bench for contemplating just about anything.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a fine nap there. Makes me think a bench would be a fine edition to my outdoor studio. I covet your curious vessel to rust fabric.
ReplyDeletethe vessel isn't mine, it lives at Wirrealpa
ReplyDeletebut
at least i know where i can find it!
and Sweetpea, whether it's the Dogs above
or
in the Lap of the Dogs
both a good thing.
Beautiful post with stains of reddish brown in various forms. Calls for contemplation.
ReplyDeleteTill now i thougt mudcloth was only made in Africa but i see.....................

amazing hand--with 'paint' strokes.
ReplyDeleteLove the mud! In Canada i saw ochre mud, in Kootenay Park, There were small ponds called paint pots, the first nations used the mud as a paint. It was so beautiful to see the paint pots there. Thanks for your tip of polishing the eggs, the're lovely now.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rich red! Pity you didn't zoom in closer to that wash line so that I could contemplate the weeks labours too.
