polar opposites

if red/orange is the colour synonymous with my island home

violet is definitely the colour of New Orleans, my home for this month.
my little grandmother would have been very pleased.

  13. Alas, this frock went swimming with the book ("rail side")? The dress shape appears to have a very flattering cut.

But what I'd really like to know...if I may be so bold to ask...*why* would your grandmother be very pleased?

  14. i love Little Mountain's idea of a kind of travel book - the places and people that have been captured in your cloth through dyeing and what not. that would definitely be a great and interesting read! *soph
