drawing with a sewing machine

i wondered what would happen
if i cut along the seams of two shirts
and sewed them together
without removing any bits?

and quite liked the result

  9. Enough shape to be much more interesting than one. Strange enough to keep looking til you figure it out. I love that in a garment! -J

  10. I found this girl http://studio-mucke.blogspot.com/ at a market a while ago and just loved her work. She's from Melbourne. She also uses old shirts and creates the most intriguing garments. Yours looks beautiful BTW.
