am spending time
wandering hospital corridors
truly depressing places
despite all the good they do
thank goodness for the batfone
something to play with
when one is sent out of the room
while they poke and prod
posting may be a little sporadic
over the coming weeks
Hospitals can be awful.
ReplyDeleteHere in the UK, they have begun exhibiting art in many hospitals, and choosing therapeutic healing condusive colours for the walls and aromatherapy plug ins. Of course it varies between hospitals.

india--i spent huge amounts of time in hospitals taking care of sick and then dying parents. i was younger, then, but the scars last. it's hard, but necessary work. caring thoughts going out to you.

ReplyDeletespent time there a few years ago when mum took a bad turn...it was pretty intense. Gosh I hope that everything is alright with you and yours..... take care, and get a bit of fresh air every now and then, it helps to get out of that hospital air now and again. take care my friend.
