Chillsome breezes and pretty beadses


I'm in New Orleans getting ready to install 'fieldnotes' 
by happy coincidence it is Mardi Gras time
And there are fascinating costumes everywhere

and lots of beads
But I wasn't expecting it to be quite so cold
Good thing I found a coat at a thrift store in Hollywood

    sounds wonderful, you do get around, at least today it is cooler here, but warming up a bit again for the end of the week.

    wonderful coat! I have always wanted to go to Mardi Gras to see all the costumes and colors, what a visual experience.

    BEEEUUUTEEEFULL colors and all the goings-on remind me a bit of the parades through the Castro ... bootie shakin and all ! Fine coat - lovely how the lining took on a tone.

      Dyed late at night, shoulda stuffed leaves inside as well as out...but I still love it. Reminds me of a coat my grandma had.
