please put your tea down before you read this

or you might have a nasty accident.

my lovely agent Jen alerted me to this
and after i mopped up the spilled tea
i thought i'd share the giggle with my gentle readers

do read the fine print, it's so funny!

in the words of the immortal Darryl Kerrigan
"tell him he's dreaming"

now had i been a business person
i could have been flogging ecoprint franchises...
just think of the forests i could save
if i were able to earn sums like that

and think of the headaches i would have had
doing my tax.

thanking goodness for small mercies
and Amazon for the laugh

and

if you're looking a copy of Second Skin
it's being reprinted and on the way
+
the Book Depository will let you know when it's in.

  3. I've seen this before, but I love the second photo with how little it can cost you when you sell it back! What happens is the price is increased by a computer program based on the highest price listed. When the price goes up, another seller's program ups its price, and they go back and forth, all automatically. I think the fault in the program is when there is no upper limit, or a very high one. One of them has to stop somewhere!

    Thanks for the laugh.

  4. Maybe I could sell my copy when the price reaches 10,000. I'd gladly give the proceed to you so you could stay home for a little longer than just re-packing.

  7. When you go directly to Amazon and type in the title, look at the second page...there's one listed from the same seller for $14,422.14. Plus $3.99 shipping. I wonder if I call them and ask, if they'll throw in the shipping for free, LOL.
