lending a paw [and west coast whispers]

today Mrs Poo [formerly known as Willow] is helping me with my work

by drinking the last of the milk i am using as mordant
painting x's on a waterbag
for the muddy waters exhibition

why x's? i hear you mutter
because
i've been thinking about that tomb in New Orleans
believed to contain the earthly remains of Marie Laveau

where it's said that if you mark three x's
and leave a gift
your wish will come true.

waiting for the milk to dry
i have tweaked my website
and
now the details of this year's West coast Wandering
are up

[sorry to be tedious but if you click on the 'up'
and then scroll down
you'll get there....]

it's just that i am waiting on April 15th to find out whether i have been accepted into my class of choice at Haystack
      in which case
i could teach a class in early summer on the way to/from Maine

and if there are 12 of you keen then i could be coaxed :o)

A svmbol of inversion (q.v.) : 'Every true Analogy must be applied inversely’ As the Roman number ten ii takes on the perfection and completion of that number and, as the crux decussata, or .cross saltire, it is in itself the perfect figure of .completion and balance. The Romans used it as a boundary cross, hence it can svmbolize a barrier. In Christianity it is the cross of St Andrew. It also shares the entire symbolism of the cross (q-v.).

    1. increase your chances by turning around three times
      whispering a blessing
tossing a pinch of salt over your left shoulder
being kind to black cats who cross [pun intended] your path
      and
always making sure you have a pocket into which someone can slip you a love letter...
