gone

i'm off
to my special place.
you might find me here

or here

looking for 'stone folders' for my students
or
stacking rocks
or
applying seawater-as-mordant to my dress made of Alabama Chanin organic cotton [which i have very nearly finished stitching together]
or

just looking out for this schooner i first saw
in 1976

i was on the headlands
and the Aldebaran [i'm pretty sure it was the same boat]
passed under the bridge
- there's proof in my slides, if only i could find them -
[images above thieved from a Bay area sailing site]

i'll be back sometime
with stories
and
perhaps
the odd splash of colour

  2. The boat is gorgeous... makes me want to go on a cruise with my folks... but they no longer have their boat, sigh. Happy stacking, dyeing, playing collecting... fogging.

  3. I am sitting here in the (soggy) Pacific northwest just hummin' that tune..."I left my heart...."
And I don't know where I put my ruby slippers either :>/
SO looking forward to your upcoming tales and our first view of that dress!

  4. Welcome to foggy/sunny SF! Do you plan a workshop here? Enjoy the trip to California! Lots of salty seawater and eucalyptus here to play with. We now have indigo being grown just north in Marin.
