Aesop have kindly supplied me with a boxful of their delicious Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm to take on my travels and share with my students - lovely on hands [and so gentle it can be used on the face], can even double as a conditioner for hair for those who like to travel light
and
there's a parcel from Alabama Chanin*
a length of their gorgeous organic cotton
for me to play with
in fact, i have a lot of play to do today
Martha thinks i should get on with it
Alabama has become one of my favorite wish spots on the web. I love that they are creating with madder and indigo.
ReplyDeleteafter your intro, i've fallen hard for aesop!
ReplyDeleteMartha looks ready for a directing career.... Pasha has a director's chair in the studio now... which used to be my comfy chair, he needs it however, to make sure I'm on track.
ReplyDeletei find Martha's attitude amusingly appropriate given the garment lying on the floor in the image above her is destined to be worn on a Red Carpet at a movie premiere...providing, of course, that it emerges from the dyepot looking more or less what the client hoped for!
ReplyDeleteI love how everything falls into place sometimes. While watching the Oscar awards recently (yes, I admit) all I could think of was that if I ever was nominated for something I would wear India Flint or Alabama Chanin. And here you are creating someones awards dress while receiving goodies from Natalie. Also, I need to try some of that aesop lotion...
ReplyDeletesmiling in the Deep South!
ReplyDeleteI love your gifts and Martha!!! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
