I have been following her blog for some time now (well as long as my blog which is 3 months old.) her work and thinking (and yours) is proof to me that it does not matter what the medium(s) is or the processes--mine being painting and collage papers--the connection is the thinking and experimenting --and the end product.
I popped over to have a look at the sampler and it is beautiful, thanks India. Your piece in this post is breathtaking! In my latest post there is a link to antique kimono patchworks which you will enjoy.
Jude's blog is a constant source of inspiration to a frustrated textile wrangler like me! She's right about your book being a 'calmer' though, I read it 3 times the first day I got it and had to leave it on the couch for a week, I couldn't bear to 'hide' it away on the shelf!

ReplyDeleteIndia, I enjoyed the korero that emerged from Judes post in the comments field. I am excited by the idea of the second book. x
