after months of dust the rain has been sheer bliss even if somewhat tempered by wild winds.
this windfall gatherer is much blessed as trees shed themselves of nicely presoaked bark [perfect for the dyepot] to reveal hidden 'landscapes' beneath
the colour below indicative of the marks to be had on cloth...
stunning pictures, lovely juicy red bark :)
ReplyDeleteLove the reflections in the puddles and that last shot of bark is to dye for!
ReplyDeleteThough not nearly enough fell, at least we can do the dishes again!
The photographs look like paintings. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou truly got the eye of an artist, even your rainpuddles are beautiful.

Simply beautyful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how most people just don't notice and even give you "the look" when you take pictures like that in public ;O)
thank you everybody - i just take the pictures, it's Mother Nature doing the hard stuff...
ReplyDeleteand yes, Mai-Britt, the "look" is frequently awarded and especially when i'm out collecting windfalls in urban areas.
as a seventeenyear-old i wondered about the woman i saw in San Francisco carefully scraping fragments of brickdust from the walls and storing them in her pocket.
now i know...she's a sister!
Simple beautiful images India, the colours are so rich, and yes we have definately been blessed by the rains.
ReplyDeleteWhat are those deep blue squares and triangles in the second picture down?
ReplyDeleteI can only imagagine...
