mild deflation

ah well, ya try to hand on an award and what happens? deafening silence, for the most part (but thanks anyway, to those who responded). the black dog looms...we're not in Kansas any more, Toto...

on the other hand, workwise things are looking up. The Kapiti Summer School (run by Whitireia Polytechnic near Paraparaumu, Aotearoa) has asked me to teach for two weeks rather than just one, in January next year.

dates will be :

first session Friday16th January- Wednesday 21st January 6 days "introduction to Eco Colour"

second session Monday 26th January - Friday 30th January 5 days "mapping country"

email bloxham {at} clear {dot} net {dot}nz for details....

  2. To be honest, those aware thingies make me nervous. I'm dreading the day someone gives one to me.

I would love to take one of your classes. Sadly, I'm a bit of a ways from New Zealand.

    Beautiful picture...

  3. I'm here. I'm here. I do so appreciate you have noted me. I've been gone from the blog for so long. My friend from Write Kudzu also noted me much earlier, and I've failed to respond, but today. I promise today.

I can't believe I was so rude and ungrateful. I have been caught up the elections in the U.S. and tracking Gustav, living in central Mississippi, and having coastal children. I'll let you know when my blog is ready to go, so you don't have to jump over and check out the same deafening silence on the blog that your received from noting me.

  9. Thank you for visiting my blog - which lead me to find yours. Wonderful things. Itchy fingers.

Can you come to the UK please! I shall be in India same time as your workshops - oh to make a detour!

Meanwhile, I am waiting to hear from Amazon when your book is in stock. I think it is a must have.

  10. I am so enjoying your excursions. I am more than jealous and wish I was in the passenger seat. And the madder root dyeing -- how gorgeous! Your travel log is so much fun to read.
