  3. My heart goes out to you at this time. Time measured in dog years is an eternity and to live without them is a great sadness.

  4. What a shocking grandmother I am, I did not realise what day it was but Kip the wonder dog has been on my mind since yesterday afternoon. I too miss her very much.

  5. Such a privilege to walk the good red road with the heartbeat of such a one for companion. Taking a moment with you to remember the sweet ones.

  6. Ahhh, look at that dear face...

A quote has been circulating on the Border collie boards recently, from Irving Townsend: "We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle, easily breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we would still live no other way."

  12. I have an old collie, now managing from day to day. That day looms for me in the not too far future and I still mourn another from 15 years ago!
But we are blessed by friends like these indeed

  13. How sweet to remember the goodness of a dog friend. They make our lives so much more whole. They leave too soon.

  14. Kip deserves a quite moment,
    your fur friend
is no doubt onto the next adventure...
my hound gets more and more frail
    and confused looking...
    each day is a gift.
