particularly loving the two frocks in the top photo that slashed back piece is totally luscious ..silk velvet, or silk satin perhaps ? in a gorgeous colour. and the other is perfect for a stroll round the garden with mr darcy mmmm.. all so beautiful. congratulations.
I'm trying to find the right words to express what I felt when I saw these dresses together, but it is difficult expressing feelings, they're not just beautiful dresses, there is something more, the feel of nature of Mother Earth being present in each dress. India, after many attempts I got my very first print of an oak leave, and it was such a pleasure to open this bundle! I put a picture of it on my blog.
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. I do like your work very much. I dabble with dyeing. Have been mainly concentrating on experiments with plant dyes and unmordanted fabrics over the past year. It's just a sideline but one that I want to develop more next year
Gorgeous, rippling with color. Could see live models walking in a meadow, twirling, holding up their skirts, leaping about. India, do you ever use live models for your exhibitions?
What a pleasure to see these being presented by Edelkoort ...and the title...'natural pigments'. Do your divine garments feature in the Bloom magazine India? the name tinctorial got me wondering. S

They are so lovely - not only the colours and the lines, but also that sense of imminent dancing - reminds me of the stones at Callanish
